EL_Basic inspection systems for manually operated quality control

New in 2016: Increased image resolutions

Basic EL inspection systems are designed to be used in manually operated production lines or as off-line Systems. The inspection may take place before or after the lamination process. The high contrast El images are recorded automatically and controlled visually on screen by an operator.

Machine design

The EL inspection system “Basic” by pi4 is flexible in its use – it can be integrated into a production line as well as employed as a lab system. Six stationary special IFR cameras deliver optimum image quality for visual inspection by the operator.

  • special EL power supply unit that also allows adjusting EL current and voltage via the software

  • New in 2016: Increased resolution for improved image quality. Optionally 6.1mp or 0.78mp.
  • Completely lightproof test environment for El images with accentuated contrast.
  • Software controlled power supply unit.
  • Storage of all El images.
  • Bar code scanner available.

Software

EL systems “Basic” by pi4 operate on the basis of the software platform pi4_control, which can be operated intuitively. The EL power supply unit and all parameters for image acquisition can be controlled via the software.
